What We Do:
A logging history museum and visitor center in the heart of the North Country. Located in the Androscoggin River Valley in the heart of New Hampshire's Great North Woods, the Northern Forest Heritage Park is a non-profit charitable trust whose mission is to preserve and interpret the history of the working forest and celebrate the multi-cultural heritage of the Great North Woods Region.
Services:
Established in 1994 by a local Board of Trustees, the NHFP consists of: ? a three acre site with waterfront access and walkways ? an outdoor amphitheater ? a full-size replica logging camp ? interactive exhibits ? the Brown Company House Museum ? the Artisans display gallery ? and the Artisans Gift Shop The NHFP hosts forest, river and art exhibits, lectures, seminars, concerts, major cultural festivals, lumberjack competitions, special blacksmith demonstrations and special events.
