What We Do:
My Concord, NH practice is focused on the many areas of the law that affect the elderly. Today's seniors need legal guidance more than ever! However, many have never needed an attorney before and put off seeking help. Sometimes until it's too late.
My clients and their families feel a sense of relief and peace of mind after I have worked with them. I meet with them in their homes. My manner is informal and not intimidating. My fees are reasonable.
I advise all my clients, young and old, to execute health care powers of attorney and financial powers of attorney. It is also wise to have a will and/or revocable living trust that is up to date and capable of carrying out your wishes at your death. In addition to a will or trust, there are many, inexpensive ways to ease the transfer of assets to the next generation.
Many seniors are concerned about nursing home costs. I advise them about long term care insurance and the Medicaid regulations.
