Contoocook Needlework Gallery - Susan Griffin Yonkers is passionate about needlework: She's been doing it for most of her life. So it was no surprise to she eventually decided to make her living doing what she loves. In 2005, she opened the Contoocook Needlework Gallery on Main Street in her hometown.
Susan's store offers fine needlework supplies for needlepoint, cross-stitch and other needlework and fiber arts. And, she adds, "we have the largest needlepoint canvas selection north of Boston." In addition to supplies, Susan also offers classes at the Needlework Gallery. Susan's customers come from all over the world, thanks to her website, and the people who show up at her Contoocook store come from all over New England, she says.
